Presumably he is either asking for someone to post photos of the Shorts
Belfast freighter or is about to post some. I hope it's the latter.

That is quite a photograph of a white Belfast in a blinding snow storm!
Thanks for posting....I didn't have one of those.

Sorry to all
I live in Cairns Australia, home of the last flyable Belfast - anywhere.
I tried to post some photos of it, but teranews does not want to seem to
play - it posted my message, but with the binaries stripped out.
If I can't find a way around that in a day or so, I'll post to photo bucket
or similar.

Just out of curiosity (I also use Teranews) I'm going to try to post a
Shorts as kind of a test..
I hope it isn't a white one in a snow storm!

G'day Terry!
I live in Innisfail and I use Astraweb's usenet service with excellent results.
See www.astraweb.com for details.
Perhaps you may need to look into changing usenet hosts.

Err, this is an aviation newsgroup, not one for flying garden sheds.
;-)
Seriously though, the Skyvan is a super aircraft.

There is one a few miles north of here that is used for parachute jump
training. I always enjoy watching those fools jump out of a perfectly
good airplane.

I think I know what happened. TerribleNews took
a small amount of money from ya to get you hooked.
With that type account they only allow 10mb per day,
hence the loss of the binaries.
I have one of those little TN accounts which I use
to verify postings on other providers.
This may start a mini-flame war, but I have been
using NewsGuy for ages. Most everyone uses GigaNews.
But I find NewsGuy has the same stuff (and LOTS more)
for the same money.
I haven't checked lately, but NewsGuy's retention is
*better* than Giganews. Better in the respect that the
age of the posts are about the same, but there are a
LOT of drop-outs on GigaNews - for more money!
Do some comparison shopping to find what suits you.
I don't believe that TerribleNews is even part of any
comparisons you might find.
Your results may vary...
